About

I'm a software engineer by trade. I built this site to go down my curiosity of finding out what it is like to develop a website that doesn't use a front-end JavaScript framework or server-side rendering.

I work with these front-end frameworks, and they feel really heavy and there is just something about not using them that fascinates me. I see it online all the time about what next JavaScript frame is the next best thing to use, but I always think about the maintanability of it. Having minimal dependancies is always what I want to try doing to avoid the issues of maintaining dependancies that lose support. Unfortinally unless I want to do everything from scrath I will have some, but I want to keep it minimal.

Someone that pushed me to get excited to do this is onionboots after watching this video of theirs.
Below is a link to their website.

I want to focus on making this site as small and snappy as possible, making it stand out to all the bloated pieces of software out there.

The technologies that I'm using for this are; Docker, Nginx, .NET, PostgreSQL, and Python

I want this project to include chats and forums.
